It is important for child asthma sufferers to have regular appointments with health professionals to assess their condition so medication can be adjusted if needed and Action Plans modified accordingly. Adult sufferers still need to be vigilant with their check- ups also even if their asthma condition is managed and under control. Diagnosis of asthma is done at our practice with the assistance of a breathing test called spirometry.
