Frequently asked questions

Why do I get these wrinkles?

Wrinkles are part of the natural ageing process. They can be attributed to sun damage, the effects of gravity and muscle contraction resulting from facial expressions such as frowning and laughing, extreme weather conditions whereby pollutants can accelerate skin ageing over time, poor nutrition will also eventually show up on your skin and poor sleep patterns create a dull uneven skin tone. A well rested face will appear rosy, plump and fresh.

How long does anti-wrinkle  treatment last?

The average lasting time frame for anti-wrinkle treatment is generally 3 months. However anti-wrinkle treatments can last anywhere between 2-4 months depending on your body and how quickly it metabolises the treatment. Generally if you are very fit and active your treatment can last less than the average 3 months.

Do anti-wrinkle treatments hurt?

You will feel a slight stinging/pinching feeling, this only lasts a few seconds with each injection. This is a well tolerated treatment hence its popularity.

What should I do before my treatment?

You should avoid vigorous physical activity, large quantities of alcohol consumption for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Avoid taking Aspirin and Vitamin E one week prior to your treatment.

Can I get anti-wrinkle treatment if i am pregnant?

No you cannot. Your safety is our priority and it is for this reason that we do not treat our current or future clients who are pregnant.
